I feel like I have so much to tell you. I’m having a really solid “yes” week and it’s only Wednesday.
Sunday AM: Like the time I said “yes” to running 11 miles, which is just insane. I can’t believe I actually did that.
Sunday PM: And when I said “no” to Sunday night blues and “yes” to that sundown sail on the Hudson with those sweet friends of mine.
Monday AM: Or the time I said “yes” to waking up at 5AM to take the early bird SoulCycle class in Union Square and then run a cool four miles home.
Monday PM: When I said “yes” to sipping rosé in the park with friends after work even though I had planned to be in bed instead–see Monday AM activity. What a magical moment, sitting between the two bridges–Manhattan and Brooklyn–while the sun set perfectly over the city.
Tuesday AM: Or that one morning where I said “yes” to getting up uber early so I could vote in the New York Primary sans lines and then go on a training run all before work.
Tuesday PM: Oh and that time I said “yes” to giving my number to the FedEx guy because…yes? Kidding, sort of, but no, no, no. No.
Anyway. So much to tell you. It’s crazy how my perspective about almost all things are changing as I push myself to make my life a little easier, a little brighter, a little fuller and so much better.
And now, I’m off to San Francisco for work; I’ll get to see the bestie while there. I can’t wait. Then…well, I said “yes” to Coachella this coming weekend because my love for music and hippie duds knows no bounds. Totally unplanned. Totally unprepared. Stay tuned. ✌️
Ps. You know how returning your cable box is the worst thing ever because the closet drop-off is probably so far away that spending any day trying to get there never seems worth it so you keep getting charged for cable you’re not using? Guys…say “yes” to TaskRabbit. To-do checked off the list and I didn’t have to do a thing.
